Cary Fraser

Dr. Fraser's research focuses upon American foreign policy, the civil rights movement, the contemporary Caribbean, and the history of international relations 1870-to the present. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Cornell University, the University of Maryland, Princeton University, and the University of Rochester and has been the recipient of fellowships from the Social Science Research Council and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. He is currently working on a book on the impact of the civil rights movement on American foreign policy over the period 1941-65. He teaches African American history in the 20th century and the history of American foreign policy
